Living walls offer a new dimension to our gardens; verticle planting is a great solution to soten large areas of life-less walls, or just to add additional planting to a small urban courtyard.



Apart from adding an exciting and softer dimension to your garden, green walls have great environmental credentials. Walls can be shaded or insulated by the addition of a living wall or by absorbing rainwater, and assissting in improving air quality.

For town gardens green walls offer a great way to soften background noise such as caused by passing traffic.

Depending on the complexity of your project, irrigation systems are normally included, with automatic timers, soil sensors and an integrated liquid feed system. Garden House Design has installed living walls for domestic users at the Chelsea Flower Show and at the Westfield Shopping Complex at White City.

ELT Living walls are comprised of modules, 500 x 500mm and 60mm deep. They have 45 planting cells, set at a 30 degree angle. Each cell has a water retention system, into which the growing medium and the planting selection are grown. Each module is supported to a vertical structure by fixing bars.
