Living walls offer a new dimension to our gardens; vertical planting is a great solution to soften large areas of life-less walls, or just to add additional planting to a small urban courtyard.



Apart from adding an exciting and softer dimension to your garden, green walls have great environmental credentials. Walls can be shaded or insulated by the addition of a living wall or by absorbing rainwater, and assisting in improving air quality.

For town gardens green walls offer a great way to soften background noise such as caused by passing traffic.

Depending on the complexity of your project, irrigation systems are normally included, with automatic timers, soil sensors and an integrated liquid feed system. Garden House Design are approved suppliers and installers for the ANS Modular System and have installed living walls for domestic users, and at the Chelsea Flower Show. We also installed and site-managed the living wall at the Westfield Shopping Complex at White City.

ANS Living Walls are comprised of modules. The HG1 Module is 500mm high x 250mm wide, and 100mm deep. It has 14 planting cells, and its own water retention system, into which the growing media, and the planting selection are established.

The ANS Modular System opens up a wide range of planting, providing interest for each season of the year. Our design team, work closely with our clients, designers and architects, to achieve the planting finish desired. Each project is a bespoke design, no two corners of nature are the same!
